Romsdalsfjord- most variety in species in Norway!
Thanks to location and climate the Romsdalsfjord has the biggest variety of species in Norway.

The Romsdalsfjord is 88 kilometers long and up to 800 meters deep. You can find up to 68 different species and the good news: fishing in the fjord is free of charge!
Are you travelling with family?
We can provide you with good ideas for great excursions or adventures in spectacular nature.
A trip to Trollstigen road, Norways most visited tourist attraction, a train ride with the famous Rauma line through the Romsdal valley, passing massive peaks like the Trollwall or hiking trips in the mountains and maybe a bath at our natural beaches promise great fun for all ages.
Åndalsnes is the name of our little but lively city. In summer we host huge international cruise ships and you could take a lazy day, visiting our cosy cafes in the town centre.
Shopping: The shops in Åndalsnes can supply you with everything, from fishing equipment to groceries, souvenirs and gifts and fashion. Maybe you could finish off with a good meal in an outside restaurant, right at the fjord.
Fishing in the lakes:
You could try your luck and purchase a fishing license and fish for mountain trout in one of our crystal clear mountain lakes, surrounded with great scenery and complete quietness and peace.
